We were not sure what to call this combination of shawl, collar, and scarf. "Scowl" did not seem right, "The Droop" was not right. Forget Andy's suggestion of "Ralph". We may go with the "Bernhardt". Anyway you look at it, it's fun and funky. Different styles look attractive on all sizes and shapes. Try our original "Bernhardt" both over the coat, to dress up a dress or turtleneck or to warm up without dealing with dangling parts of a shawl. We have added a new style that incorporates Fran's buttons. Dress it up with a shawl pin. Come to the studio and try one on!

Valley Vogue Collections has had great success with this style.The Bernhardts shown above are woven in hand dyed mohair. We weave Bernhards in a variety of fibers (i.e. linen, bamboo, mohair, silk, merino wool.) Currently, we are in production of new "Bernhardts" using a mixture of fibers in jewel tones. Each new line has at least three Bernhardts uniquely woven to be one-of-a-kind. Bernhardts are currently in production.
