Carpet Bags are an original design from Valley Vogue Collections. In the beginning, we relied on manufactured materials to make our pocketbooks. We wanted to develop styles and patterns that met the demands of our customers. As our pocketbook styles expanded, we began expanding to include handwoven materials as these materials were more interesting and sturdy. We were left with a huge supply of manufactured materials that were no longer our first choice in materials until we developed the "Carpet Bag". This bag is woven with strips of our manufactured materials. The same material that provides the strips for the outside is used for the liningon the inside. Several pockets of different sizes are sewn inside. A loop inside provides a spot for keys. Handmade adjustable leather straps and a polymer clay button closure completes the bag.
